ABOUT INKTEC CLEANING SOLUTION

InkTec Cleaning solution is suitable for printhead of desktop inkjet printers, both thermal and piezo / piezoelectric. It can be use to unclog dry and dirty printheads and highly recommended for anyone refilling OEM cartridges, using refillable cartridges or Continuous Ink Supply Systems (CISS) that have been empty for several days. It is also ideal for dissolving and cleaning residues or ink stains, whether they are pigmented or water-based inks.

COMPATIBILITY:

1. Thermal type inkjet printheads (eg: HP, Lexmark, Canon) 2. Piezo / piezoelectric (eg: Epson, Brother)

APPLICATIONS:

There are two ways to use the solution: 1. Fill some refillable cartridges (compatible with your printer model/serie) with the solution and then perform cleaning cycles from the printer menu (recommended method). 2. For an exceptionally clogged or stubborn head, you can manually force the solution through the printhead. This should only be done as absolute last resort before discarding the printer. Use syringe and tubing to manually force the ink through the printhead. *Note that this procedure will not be possible if your printer uses a fixed-cartridge design.
